Individual Support

You can access Individual Support (IS) in Clydebank, Dumbarton and the Vale of Leven.

The support is for people who have ongoing difficulties that can either be practical or emotional, or a combination of both. We find that people benefit from having time with a support worker to reflect on the issues they are going through. This helps people work out what is most important to them now and helps them identify goals.

There may be a number of reasons why someone has referred themselves to Stepping Stones. The cornerstone of our support is empathy and compassion and the support will either be time limited or flexible. We will discuss this with you at an assessment appointment.

We use a number of different methods to help you achieve what you need from us and some of these are listed below:

  • Personal Support Planning
  • Goal setting
  • Reviews
  • Peer Support
  • Group Support
