Stepping Stones is a registered charity, incorporated in 1991. We provide a range of mental health support services. It is hoped that what we offer will inspire hope, recovery and tackle stigma and prejudice.

Under the new law surrounding GDPR, we are known as the ‘data controller’ of the personal information we gather and use.

You have the right to object to how we process your personal information. You also have the right to access, correct, delete and restrict the personal information we use. In addition you can ask for some of your personal information to be provided to someone else. Also, you have the right to complain to us and to the data protection regulator.

We initially obtain personal information when we receive a referral to our service via our contact form on the website.

Your information is used to provide you with the appropriate service at Stepping Stones. We also use information in our Quarterly and Annual Reports. This information is taken anonymously from forms we ask our members to complete (no personal information is used in any reports). We will use your email address to subscribe you to our e-bulletin which provides information about our services.
