Stepping Stones has been supporting people in the area since 1991. With your support we can do even more. Help us change someone’s life for the better today.

Petrie – Shanks Member Benefit Fund

This discretionary fund is for people who are current Service Members of Stepping Stones and is underpinned by the donations we receive from the wider public and community groups. Taking a Cash First approach, our Service Members can access up to £50 to help with a short term financial crisis, or remove barriers to access our services. The fund does not replace the existing support available through our local money and citizens advice centres, the Scottish Welfare Fund and other discretionary supports. The fund is named after two of our longstanding (now retired) Chairpersons of the Board, (Morag Petrie and Jackie Shanks).

The fund is available to our service members only and can be accessed by speaking with a staff member.

Stepping Stones works incredibly hard to make ends meet. Each year we find it more difficult to meet the demands placed upon our services. We believe that supporting a small local organisation like ours will give you better value for your donation and help more people directly. Join our growing army of people who believe that local face to face services are better at supporting people with mental health challenges! Lets do this!
